EdSpaces Education Conference — Meeting the Learning Needs for All

EdSpaces features a CEU-accredited education conference that focuses on forward-thinking, sustainable design and the changing impact of environments on learning. With a variety of session topics and styles, the EdSpaces education conference has something for everyone.

EdSpaces kicks off with a showcase of cutting-edge design and architecture throughout San Antonio. The tour includes three locations; at each stop participants will engage in an educational overview of the facility and a tour of the facility's points of interest.

Begin Wednesday and Thursday with the Keynote General Sessions, all attendees are welcome as industry luminaries present visions of the future of educational facilities and learning styles. These can't-miss sessions will set the stage for the day's education program to follow.

After the Keynote General Sessions attendees can participate in a range of breakout sessions. These sessions will bring together speakers from our Knowledge Partners: AIA's Committee on Architecture for Education (AIA-CAE), the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI), USGBC's Center for Green Schools, InfoComm, and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and will focus on the following topics:

  • »  Facility & Design
  • »  Security/Health and Safety
  • »  Technology
  • »  Learning Styles/Education Delivery

Attendees can pick a track and follow it through the Conference or mix and match topics of interest! In the afternoons, education sessions transition from the classroom to the exhibit show floor for Interactive sessions. Let your imagination and creativity go wild through hands-on learning. In these sessions participants create model learning spaces while engaging with other attendees who come from different fields.
